Nusrat Jahan, Assistant Professor, Department of Software Engineering, Daffodil International University , received “Excellent Researcher Award (Female, Overseas)" by 3rd International Academics and Research Excellence Awards (IARE)-2021, an International initiative by the GISR Foundation to honor and acknowledge Exceptional Caliber, Outstanding Performance, and Extraordinary talent as Researcher, Academician, Mentor, Advisor, and a Thought Leader.

Rowshan Ara Scholar Garden, a hall built for female students at Daffodil International University (DIU) has been inaugurated. Rowshan Ara Begum, Member of the Board of Trustees of the university inaugurated the hall on October 24, 2021 at DIU campus in Daffodil Smart City, Ashulia, Dhaka.

With the theme "Digital Equity for All Ages," the Social Business Students' Forum, Daffodil International University and Ageing Support Forum, Bangladesh jointly organized the 5th Edition of Youth Summit on Ageing-2021 on 25 October 2021 at Daffodil International University.

All Stars Daffodil hosted "Campus Utshob -21" on 29 October to celebrate returning to campus after a long 18 months. 

The festival is celebrated all day long in the colorful atmosphere of the university in Banamaya.

Cleaning & Awareness Campaign by DIU Voluntary Service Club at Daffodil International University, Daffodil Smart City - DSC, Ashulia, Dhaka. 

Daylong workshop organized by Daffodil Prothom Alo Bondhushova on 30 October at Daffodil Smart City, where members of 16 Bondhushova from Dhaka Mohanogor and adjacent areas attended. 

To observe World Mental Health Day 2021, The Psychological Service Center of Office of the Director of Students' Affairs organized a live discussion and Q & A session on “Mental Health in an Unequal World” 

"Tolerance is an essential idea that allows people to live harmoniously together. It is not an easy job for a human being to be complying with all the elements of Tolerance rather practicing it. Naturally, we feel comfortable fixing our own ideas and mock others’ ideas that lead us towards conflict, which is a violation of individual rights.
Considering this statement and making young minds keep ready to get rid of it, Daffodil International University (DIU) and Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF Bangladesh) jointly organized a four-day long residential workshop from 23 to 26 October 2021.

Certificates were provided to the winners of GoEdu Learning Contest on 26 October 2021.
