GEN Global and GEN Bangladesh have joined forces to sign a partnership to showcase Bangladesh as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship on a global scale. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, the Managing Director of GEN Bangladesh, and Mr. Jonathan Ortmans, President of GEN Global and Mr. K M Hasan Ripon, National Host, EWC Bangladesh, were the signatories of this landmark MoU.

Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BCIC) under the Ministry of Industries has launched a service center at DIU campus with the aim of finding new entrepreneurs from students and creating a new trend in the country's small, cottage and medium industries through them. DIU Trustee Board Chairman Dr. Md. Sabur Khan and BCIC chairman Muh. Mahbubur Rahman jointly inaugurated the industrial support center.

To create awareness to prevent sexual harassment, eve-teasing, ragging, and violence against women on workplace, Daffodil International University organized a seminar, titled "Safe Workplaces, Strong Workforces: Addressing and Preventing Sexual Harrasment" organized by the University's Complaint Committee to Prevent Sexual Harassment.

To observe World Suicide Prevention Day 2023, Psychological Service Unit from Office of the Director of Students' Affairs organized an impactful awareness session titled "Creating a Supportive Campus Community".

Daffodil University students get job opportunity at BDCOM!

The recruitment test of BDCOM (Shanghai based) company was held at Daffodil International University campus where BDCOM company has selected Daffodil International University as the first private university for campus recruitment test.

We congratulated about 70 students from different departments of DIU who actively participated in international exchange programs for short and long-term periods with various DIU partners around the world during the Spring-2023 semester.

A research agreement was signed between Daffodil International University, 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵 , 𝗮𝗻𝗱 Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia (UiTM), 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮. The agreement was signed by Professor Dr. S. M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Vice-Chancellor (In Charge) of DIU, and Professor Datuk Dr. Hjh. Roziah Mohd Janor, Vice-Chancellor of UiTM, using a blended mode.
 

A 22-member delegation led by Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Managing Director of GEN Bangladesh and Chairman of Daffodil International University, attended the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Melbourne, Australia.
