A day-long celebration of Cyber Security Awareness Day-2023 was observed at Daffodil International University, Daffodil Smart City, Savar on October 21, 2023, with a colorful event which was jointly organized by Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) and Daffodil International University.
 

 

A discussion meeting and tree planting program were organized at Daffodil International University to observe Sheikh Russell Day on 18th October 2023, younger son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and younger brother of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Sabur Khan, Founder and Chairman of Daffodil International University, Bangladesh, and President of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific - AUAP, joined the Global Education Summit (GES) 2023, hosted by Chandigarh University (CU) in India fwith the theme, "One Earth, One Family, One Future,"
 

AWS Startup Day Bangladesh 2023, the first of its kind in the country, held at Daffodil Plaza, Dhaka, brought together over 150 students, startup founders, and entrepreneurs to learn from the best and brightest in the cloud computing industry.

The Department of Textile Engineering, DIU celebrated the DIU Textile Carnival 2023 at the Daffodil Smart City, Dhaka. The day-long program included sports, discussions, a project competition, a treasure hunt, cultural programs, alumni appreciation, and much more.

The 8th CJEN Bangladesh Networking Conference hosted by the Department of Journalism, Media and Communication, DIU, and DW Akademie with the theme of the conference was "Ensuring Economic Sustainability for Local and Regional Mass Media in Bangladesh."

DaffodilMUN'23 successfully concluded its two-day conference, bringing together students from 25 universities, 4 schools, and several colleges nationwide to engage in debates, diplomacy, and negotiations from 26-27 October, 2023.

Daffodil Bandhu Sabha has provided free health care to more than two hundred poor and underprivileged people in the areas adjacent to Daffodil International University in Ashulia, Dhaka. On the occasion of Prothom Alo's 25th anniversary, this program was held on October 31 as a part of 'One Good Work'.

An enriching seminar on "Enhancing the Quality of Technical Education for Careers in Japan" took place, organized by the Industry Innovation Center, DIU.

A delegation from Daffodil International University (DIU) in Bangladesh, including Samiha Khan, a Member of the Board of Trustees and Senior Lecturer at DIU, and Syed Raihan-Ul-Islam, Deputy Director of International Affairs at DIU, conducted a session on 'Bangladesh & Study Prospects.' by visiting Hogeschool UCLL University of Applied Sciences in Belgium.  
 

 

 

Mr. Juan Carlos Gazca Muoz from UPAEP, Mexico, and Mr. Omar Ojarov from KVK, Lithuania joined for 2 month internship at the International Affairs office of DIU in Bangladesh under the IIP-2023 program.
 

A team of 7 delegates, including a faculty member and 6 students from the British University in Egypt attended a week-long ‘DIU Social Business Camp 2023’ at DIU hosted by International Affairs, DIU in cooperation with the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, DIU.

Recently signed research agreement between Daffodil International University, Bangladesh, and, Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia (UiTM), Malaysia.

To enhance internationalization and enlarge the global network for partnership, a delegation of 3 members from Daffodil International University, Bangladesh joined and represented the university at Europe’s largest Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition 2023

Professor Dr. Mohammed Masum Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship at Daffodil International University, joined in a week-long Faculty Exchange program to teach at Anadolu Üniversitesi in Turkiye, under the European Union's fully funded Erasmus+ KA171 Staff Mobility grant.
 

Four DIU students from the Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Department of Information Technology & Management, and Department of Pharmacy left Dhaka to study a semester (Fall-23) in Malaysia under the Student Exchange Program!
 

A team of five students from Daffodil International University, representing the Departments of Nutrition and Food Engineering, Civil Engineering, English, and Software Engineering, joined  the ‘2023 Global Youth Camp’  at Sias University in Zhengzhou, China
 

With the European Union’s fully funded Erasmus+ KA 171 Staff Mobility project, 2 academic staff of Daffodil International University, Mr. Kazi Jahid Hasan, Lecturer, Department of Multimedia & Creative Technology and Mr. Md. Ahsan Ullah Lecturer (Sr. Scale), Department of Law, joined '3rd International Staff Week'.
 

Khaled Muhammad Billal, a bright graduate of the Department of Civil Engineering, Daffodil International University, proudly received the prestigious fully funded Guillaume Dupaix International Master's Scholarship to pursue his Master degree in University of Luxembourg, located in one of the richest countries of Europe, Luxembourg.
 

Alid Hasan Akash, Co-Founder of Robust Research and Development Ltd & student of the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and his team of Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Daffodil University became Champion of NASA Space Apps Challenge - Bangladesh 2023.

Daffodil International University hosted the second reunion of Non-Resident Daffodil Alumni (NRDA) in Dubai at the Crowne Plaza Deira. Over 50 enthusiastic Alumni Members, including the Honorable Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, and BoT member Ms. Samiha Khan, participated in this vibrant event.
 
 

The campus is decorated for the 4th National Conference of the Erasmus+ CBHE Harmony Project. 

The Daffodil Family is proud to host the 6th Daffodil Captain Cup Golf Tournament at the Kurmitola Golf Club from November 1-3, 2023.
