DU tops the list of scientific publications in the country, followed by Daffodil International University

According to Scopus data, Dhaka University has retained the first place in research with 1,410 publications in 2023, which was 1,293 the previous year. Daffodil International University took the second place with 1 thousand 80 publications.

Daffodil International University welcomed its newly recruited faculty members (Spring 2024) with an inspiring journey of excellence at their Orientation & Induction Training program on 1-4 January 2024.

A team of 10 students and teachers from Mumbai's Kohinoor Business School & Kohinoor Management School, India participated in a week-long Social Entrepreneurship Exposure Program (SEEP) 2024 at DIU on January 23 to 28, 2024.

26 students from the Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management at DIU have secured year-long internship placements in top hotels in Sanya, China.

A delegation of 20 students and officials from DIU has departed for the "KIIT-KISS Internship Exchange Program 2024" in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India hosted by KIIT University.

To explore possible collaborations, Ph.D. scopes, faculty, and student exchange initiatives, joint degree programs, etc. for DIU students and faculty members at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Bangkok, Thailand, two delegates from AIT, Thailand, led by Dr. Roger Lever, Vice President of Development & Dean of the School of Management, visited Daffodil International University on January 28, 2024.

Daffodil International University signed a new partnership agreement with the Samarkand State Architecture and Construction University (SAMDAQI) in Uzbekistan to collaborate on exchanges, research, and many other opportunities. Prof. Emrah Turkyilmaz, Department of Architecture, SAMDAQI visited DIU to formalize the partnership.

The Department of Agricultural Science at DIU cultivates future leaders through hands-on field classes, transforming theoretical knowledge into practical expertise for a thriving career in agriculture.

Students from the Department of Pharmacy, DIU visited Newtec Pharmaceuticals Ltd., as a part of our commitment to a practice-based education.

Like every time, under the program "Daffodil Prothom Alo Bandhu Sabha" in the warmth of cold people, Daffodil Prothom Alo Bandhu Sabha distributed blankets to more than two hundred cold people in Ashulia, Savar.
