The 33rd Academic Council Meeting 2023 of DIU was held at the International Conference Hall, Daffodil Smart City, Birulia, Dhaka.

DIU has taken a bold step towards clean energy by partnering with Pacific Solar Renewable Energy Ltd. to install and operate a 3 MW solar energy system on its campus rooftops.

Students took part in the admission test for Fall 2023, even during the weekend on a Friday. 
 

Under the prestigious European Erasmus+ KA171 fully funded staff mobility between Daffodil InternationalUniversity,Bangladesh and Mykolas Romeris University  Lithuania , Dr. Touhid Bhuiyan, Professor and Head, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, DIU joined the Erasmus Staff Exchange Week.

Bhutan, the country which introduced the index of Gross National Happiness to this planet. On 26 July, Professor Thakur S. Powdyel, Former Minister of Education, Royal Government of Bhutan visited DIU, met the students and delivered a lecture on ‘Green Universities as Instruments of Nation Building’. 

With European Union’s fully funded Erasmus+ KA 107 Staff Mobility project, Md. Nazmul Hoque Nayeem, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Architecture and Shakil Ahmed, Lecturer, Dept. of Real Estate from DIU joined a teaching and training visit at Iskenderun Technical University (ISTE), Turkiye.

To get an enriching experience, a team of Administrative employees from the office of the Human Resource, DIU joined the ‘Staff Exchange Program’ held at Assam down town University, India.

Four students from Departments of CSE, SWE, and BA of Daffodil International University are set to participate in the Student Exchange Program (Fall-2023) at Chandigarh University , India.

In order to foster a stronger connection between academia and industry, students from the Department of Real Estate, DIU recently paid a courtesy visits to Rupayan City Uttara.

Daffodil International University (DIU) Air Rover Scout Group's week-long 15th Deeksha Camp was held at BAF Base Zahurul Haque, Chittagong. 

Daffodil International University Debating Club, one of the prominent clubs of DIU, has organized " Praner Majhe  Ay". 

Nayeem Ahmed, Alumnus of CSE at DIU recived a fully funded PhD scholarship at the University of  Memphis, United States.
